Institutional Evaluation

Institutional evaluations are primarily aimed at quality development of academic, but also administrative organizational units of a higher education institute. The evaluation questions focus, amongst other things, on aspects of the objectives and profiling of institutions, on (human and material) resources, on processes of cooperation and communication, as well as on results or performance in the areas of research, study and teaching.

The purpose of institutional evaluation is to bring together performance data and perspectives of different stakeholders, and to identify development potential on the basis of a strengths and weakness analysis. This information can be used as the basis for structural decisions by the subject areas and departments, or even by the university as a whole.
