Purpose: Participation in thematically different online surveys developed and/or technically implemented by the ZQ
If you participate in an online survey via the survey portals https://befragung.uni-mainz.de/evasys/online.php and https://befragung.hochschulevaluierungsverbund.de /evasys/online.php, each access is temporarily stored by our web server in a log file. The following data is collected and stored until automated deletion, which takes place after 14 days:

- IP address of the requesting computer
- Date and time of access
- Name, URL, and amount of data transferred of the retrieved file
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Identification data of the browser and operating system used
- Website from which the access was made
This data is processed for the purpose of enabling the use of our website (connection establishment), system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and optimising the Internet offer. IP addresses are only evaluated in the event of attacks on the network infrastructure of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
Personal user profiles are not created.
