Institutional evaluations

Institutional evaluations are primarily aimed at quality development in academic, but also administrative, organizational units of a higher education institute. Evaluation issues focus, amongst other things, upon aspects of objective setting and profiling of facilities, (personal and material) resources, processes for cooperation and communication, and results or performance in the area of research, study and teaching.

Institutional evaluations are concerned with combining performance data and the perspectives of different stakeholders, and identifying development potential on the basis of a strengths and weakness analysis. This information can be used as the basis for structural decisions by the subject areas and departments, or even the university as a whole.
