The "General Postgraduate Program"

The "General Postgraduate Program" (GPP) of Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz is part of the concept for supporting young researchers.

The aim of the GPP is to promote research and science related skills, and to develop central key qualifications. To this end, the GPP offers lectures and workshops which also facilitate the university-wide networking of doctoral students.

The Center for Quality Assurance and Development (ZQ) is entrusted with the overall planning and organization of the GPP program, and also holds events itself.


Participation Requirements

As a doctoral candidate of JGU you are allowed to take part in the workshops of the GPP. The only prerequisite is that you are registered as a member.
You can apply for the workshops and seminars the GPP offers which are exempt from charges for doctoral candidates of Mainz University.
