The books we will consult reach from introductory textbooks like the one by Clark and Phillips via handbook-like surveys like the one by Greco et al. on US publishing to influential monographs on wider (John Thompson´s Bourdieu-informed books on academic as well as trade publishing) or narrower (Davis´ book on editorial commissioning and acquisition) aspects of publishing.
