Scientific Transfer Project

Background

In the assessment of domain-specific and generic competencies in higher education in Germany, the projects of the new KoKoHs initiative need to address joint methodological challenges of the longitudinal assessment designs and multilevel analyses. The focus of the new initiative helps foster synergies among KoKoHs project teams as well as cooperation among national and international partners. It also facilitates comprehensive presentations of the results of projects and findings of the overall program to increase international visibility of KoKoHs research. The scientific transfer project was initiated on October 1, 2015, with offices in Berlin (headed by Professor Hans Anand Pant, Humboldt-Universitaet zu Berlin) and in Mainz (headed by Professor Olga Zlatkin-Troitschanskaia, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz) to promote networking and cooperation among researchers, systematically and continuously support young researchers, pool findings from the previous and new KoKoHs initiatives, and facilitate dissemination of results at multiple levels.

Aims

The scientific transfer project provides guidance and support to the project teams, organizes conferences and training events especially for young researchers, promotes exchange and networking among the project teams, and establishes and maintains international cooperation partnerships with colleagues and testing institutes worldwide.

To ensure systematic networking among, and promotion of, young researchers as well as wide and rapid dissemination of the results of the KoKoHs projects and findings of the program, the team members of the scientific transfer project assume the following responsibilities:
