Computational Sciences - Rechnergestützte Naturwissenschaften is an interdisciplinary Master program consisting of four semesters that ends with a Master degree. In order to be able to subscribe to this Master program an undergraduate degree (typically Bachelor degree) in one of the following subjects is required: Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences or Physics.
The study program offers a brought curriculum having a focus on numerical mathematics, computer science and an individually chosen applied subject of natural sciences such as Theoretical Chemistry, Physics of Condensed Matter, Atmospheric Physics, and Geosciences. The strong connection between mathematics and natural sciences provides a very unique Master program in Germany. The high scientific reputation of the involved faculties guarantees the quality of education and generates a lot of possibilities on the job market.
