Job Opportunities

Mathematics and, in particular, computer simulations using modern numerical techniques become more and more important parts of various industrial sectors. Besides traditional applications in the engineering sciences, mathematical modelling and computer simulations are starting to be an important tool also for natural sciences. Typical job opportunities are researcher positions in meteorology, seismology, pharmaceutical industry, engineering, etc. Computational Science is thus realized not only at universities, but also at government funded research centers as well as in industry. Many of these are located in the Rhein-Main area which offers a lot of job opportunities for our graduates.
