Information about the weather station

The weather station is operated by the Institute for Atmospheric Physics of the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany. It is located approx. 130 m a.s.l. at the western edge of the campus.

Former locations:

  • since 4th August 2009 at current loaction
  • 2nd November 2007 - 12th May 2009 Am Brunnen (now Coface Arena)
  • 1st November 1994 - 4th September 2007 at botanic garden
