Requirements / organisational issues

This lecture provides an insight into the dynamics of mid-latitude weather systems and phenomena on the synoptic scale. The goals are twofold: (i) provide basics and different perspectives on mid-laitude weather systems; (ii) discuss mid-latitude weather systems.

The lecture builds upon concepts which have been introduced in the introductory lecture as well as in the basic dynamic and synoptic lectures. 

Digital teaching

Depending on the pandemic situation, this lecture can either be given in attendance or digital mode. This will be dependent on the general university guidlines.
