This cooperation project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the new funding initiative „modeling and measuring competencies in higher education“. It aims to adapt suitable international measuring instruments and measuring models in order to develop a German instrument that assesses expertise in economics on an academic level. Additionally, this objective contributes to an empirically-based level and structure modeling of economics expertise. The project which starts in October 2011, has been scheduled for three years.
