REMEMBER – Holocaust Remembrance in Religious Education

The international research group „remember“  with researchers of the University of Tübingen, the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, the Protestant University of applied Science Freiburg, the University Wien and University Zürich have conducted an online Survey among teachers of religious education of schools in Germany, Austria and Suisse.

Is „Remembrance of the Holocaust“ a topic RE teachers include in their lessons?

This is the question teachers are invited to answer in the online survey. We know of many colleagues who include the topic in their lessons and are committed to other activities and projects regarding the topic, too. The aim of the survey is to get an overview of teachers‘ activities regarding holocaust remembrance in the context of religious education today – more than 70 years after Auschwitz.
