Degree Theses in Canon Law

Students of all courses can write their thesis in Canon Law. The thematically possible spectrum includes canonical, state-church law and legal history topics. Candidates, upon consultation, can work on a self-chosen topic or choose one out of various topic suggestions.

In preparation, the successful attendance of canonical courses is recommended. Regarding diploma and master theses, it is advised to attend an advanced seminar as well. The individual writing process is accompanied. In addition to that, there is, within the scope of a colloquium, the possibility of exchange and discussion of one’s own work product with fellow students.

If you are interested in writing a canonical degree thesis, approach us or come to see us in our office hours for more information and individual consultations. We then can advise you concerning your choice of topics.
