In cooperation with other partners of the IAK PET-research highly affine, subtype selective ligands of the central nervous system receptors are identified and in order of 18F-labelling derived in a systematic way. To this system belong:
a) the dopaminergic system (D2-artig)
b) the GABA/benzodiazepine system
c) the opiate-system
d) the NMDA system
e) the muscarinic system
The marked systems are already resulted in 18F-labelled ligands for human PET studies
The study of α-subtype-selective benzodiazepine ligands currently is a common project with H. Lüddens on “development- and sickness-induced modifications of the nervous system” (speaker: H.J. Luhmann, J. Trooter) 1044/1.
