Kira Enders is a research associate in the Department of Sports Medicine, Prevention and Rehabilitation. As part of her master thesis, she investigated different pre-analytical factors for the measurement of cell-free DNA as a biomarker in sports. On this basis, her further research interest is in the field of biomarkers concerning both method establishment in molecular biology context as well as performance physiology issues.
