| content | Especially in today's context, where video conferences have become the norm and are attended by listeners from around the globe, the ability to speak effectively to groups in English is valuable. This workshop examines tools for presenting your topic (and yourself) impressively in English and provides opportunities to practice these tools actively. The overall goal is to explore methods and principles which you can apply to a wide range of presentation situations and to increase your confidence when delivering a talk in English – whether face-to-face or online. Note: The workshop is interactive, and you'll need to be able to share your audio and video and to create simple visuals and share your screen. To do so, you'll need to participate via your laptop or desktop. |
| Instructor | Andrew has been conducting job-application training for university students and graduates for over 15 years. He is the former head of the business English program of the Frankfurt branch of City University of Bellevue, Washington State. Since 2002 he has managed English, Inc., a Heidelberg-based provider of business English training. He holds degrees in English literature, creative writing and business administration. |
