What do we do?
The Student Council (Fachschaftsrat, FSR) represents all students who are enrolled at the Department of Anthropology and African Studies. We are there to help you at the beginning and throughout your stay at the department. We can help you to plan your studies and choose the right courses. We will also make every effort to answer any questions you may have about the department, the university and Mainz in general. We also represent our students’ interests on all of the official boards and committees, for example, the teaching body and faculty (Leitungskollegium) and the General Student Council (Zentraler Fachschaftenrat).
Students who support our tasks and would like to join us can become members of the FSR. Just contact us or present yourself at the plenary meeting at the beginning of every semester.
