Prof. Dr. Paul Pettitt

Since 2013, Prof. Dr. Paul Pettitt has been conducting research in the Department of Archaeology at Durham University. Specializing in the European Middle and Upper Paleolithic, he works extensively on the origins and nature of Paleolithic art, burials, and behavior of Neanderthals and Pleistocene members of our own species.

At the Research Training Group 1876 in Mainz he will discuss cognitive archaeology in detail with the colleagues. He will also offer a weekly seminar. For more information click here.
