Dear students,on occasion of the exam registration period (January 12-26, 2026, 1 p.m.), we would like to remind you that you can only take exams in the subject of geography if you register for them during this exam registration period.
You may already have been “implicitly” registered for your first exam attempts when you registered for courses, in which case you do not need to take any further action (status “confirmed” in Jogustine behind exams).
There is no automatic exam registration for repeat exams; it is your responsibility to register for these exams (technical note: the registration button for repeat exams is often found in the semester of exam admission, so please set the semester selection accordingly).
At this point, we would like to draw your attention to the repeat deadlines for exams in the 2nd or 3rd attempt, as specified in your examination regulations, after a first exam attempt has been graded as “failed.” Expiration of the repeat deadline without a successful 2nd or 3rd exam attempt will result in final failure of the degree program.
The specific details of these repeat periods may be regulated individually in each examination regulation, so please be sure to observe the examination regulations applicable to your degree program:

As a general rule, exam deregistration can only be made during the exam registration period, with a few individual exceptions. We offer a special concession for exams in the subject of geography: these can be deregistered up to 48 hours before the exam date.
The exam registration period for the B dates of some exams in April (= part of the 2026 summer semester) will run from March 1 to March 31, 2026. In geography, you are not required to take the exam on the first date. If you wish, you can also choose the B date or a later date for your first exam attempt.
