Contents
During the week of 02.06.25 - 05.06.25, a practical introduction to the working methods of dendroclimatology will be given. Components of this course are a field day, a short lecture, practical work in the dendro-laboratory of the Institute of Geography, and the presentation of initial results.The course includes a day-long seminar where each student will give a short presentation about a specific assigned topic. Participation in the workshop is mandatory. The seminar date will be decided in agreement with all the participants during class, to avoid problems with overlapping courses.
The course will be followed by independent work in the field and laboratory in small groups. Additional information and assistance will be provided in the accompanying course "M6 - Quantitative Methods". The results of the field and laboratory work are expected to be presented in the Dendro lab during the first half of the winter semester.
