Gutenberg Council for Young Researchers (GYR) is responsible for

developing strategic perspectives for early career researchers and young artists,

the formulation of recommendations and activities

consulting and advising university management and, if requested, faculties, colleges of arts, central departments, the senate and university council

systemizing and visualizing support programs, which already exist and developing new programs

creating opportunities to articulate requests of early career researchers
Furthermore, the GYR is the first point of contact for concerns of young scientists and artists.
