The students in the Graduate School Materials Science in Mainz (MAINZ) come from two towns, three different host institutions and many more different research groups. Students may meet each other only rarely. Because building a strong network with your peers is important for your future, our students meet every friday for a lunch at the mensa on JGU campus. There you can discuss recent events in MAINZ, your research development or just meet up for a chat with others in the same position. Whatever you go there for, it will be worth getting to know your peers in the graduate school.
