The Mineral Vein Dynamics Modeling project is conducted by a multidisciplinary group of researchers at four Universities (RWTH Aachen, University of Tübingen, ETH Zürich and University of Mainz). It consists of several subprojects that all collaborate to study the dynamics of mineral vein systems in the Earth's Crust.The project is financed by the "Deutsche Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Erdöl, Erdgas und Kohle e.V." (DGMK, project 718) within the frame of the basic research program of the "Wirtschaftsverband Erdöl- und Erdgasgewinnung e.V." (WEG).
