ETOS enters the first implementation period!

We made it! After a little more than 1 ½ years of conception and application period, ETOS – Electrifying Technical Organic Syntheses was selected as one of seven Clusters4Future.

In a two-stage application process, JGU Mainz and KIT, led by Prof. Dr. S. R. Waldvogel and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrike Krewer prevailed against 117 other applicants. The Zukunftscluster-Initiative will be funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for up to nine years with a maximum of 45 million euros. In 2023, the first of up to three implementation periods will start.
