The first ever Winterschool on the ETOS network occurred on January 27/28, 2022. More than 60 potential young scientists were introduced to organic electrosynthesis, electrodes, electrolyzers, and electrochemical processes and learned about the conceptual phase project ETOS of the Zukunftscluster-Initiative of the BMBF.
Through the workshop, the participants were able to gain knowledge about ETOS. We hope that this has aroused great interest in devoting themselves to research in the field of organic electrosynthesis and electrochemical process technologies in the future.
The presentations by Prof. S.R. Waldvogel (JGU Mainz), Prof. Dr.-Ing. U. Krewer (KIT), Prof. Dr.-Ing. J. Sauer (KIT), Prof. Dr.-Ing. B.J.M. Etzold (TU Darmstadt) and Dr. N. Aust (BASF) illuminated the topic from all sides, both from an academic and an industrial perspective.
