The Cluster of Excellence “Precision Physics, Fundamental Interactions and Structure of Matter (PRISMA)” has been recognized as a center for top-level research and scientific excellence by the highly competitive 'Excellence Initiative' of the German Federal and State Governments.

We would like to celebrate the start of PRISMA and take the opportunity to present an overview of the research goals within the cluster to the scientific community.
