Die Physik bei Starwars

PUBLIC LECTURE SERIES | "PHYSIK IM THEATER"

25.11.2017

In a galaxy far, far away … are the laws of physics still valid there? How much energy is actually needed to destroy a planet? And what’s „force“ all about? Professor Concettina Sfienti answered these questions during her entertaining evening lecture on the Star Wars universe and showed that it is possible to discuss about the unknown in a strictly academic manner and at the same time learn about the own universe and its laws.

The journey was accompanied by JGU’s Collegium musicum under the musical direction of Professor Felix Koch. The orchestra performed the Star Wars Suite by John Williams.

The pictures of Stefan F. Sämmer show an impression of the evening.
