Time and again, the Department of Anthropology and African Studies organises, in connection with the Jahn Library, events related to African literatures.
Most specifically, these events include the International Janheinz Jahn Symposia on central topics in African Literature Studies and other workshops, readings with writers from Africa or from African literary works, exhibitions, lectures and lecture series such as the so-called Literary Lunch, as well as guided tours of the library and other events in the library, such as the so-called biblio-speed-dating.
