Sept. 25-27, 2019: 5th International Symposium on Resilience Research

In Mainz, Germany (30 min from Frankfurt International Airport).

As every year, the meeting will cover latest developments and break-throughs in stress resilience research, both in animal models and in human studies.

Aug. 14, 2019: Workshop "Mental Health, Resilience, and Political Participation"

How does mental health affect political participation? Do conditions such as depression affect how people relate to politics? Does resilience help citizens cope with the frustrations often experienced in politics? – Questions to be addressed in this Workshop with Claudia Landwehr, Christopher Ojeda and Oliver Tüscher.

Apr. 17-Dec. 4, 2019: Mainzer Resilience Talks

In order to make the exciting topic of resilience accessible to both the public and the interested professional audience, we regularly invite leading scientists in this field to present their research at the "Mainzer Resilience Talks".

The talks take place on Wednesdays from 18:00 to 19:30 on the campus of the JGU in Mainz and include a 60-minute talk followed by a discussion. Admission is free. Please find further information here (flyer for download, in German).
