Fireside chats

Participants are offered several opportunities during their course of study to meet with high-ranking representatives of the corporate and public sectors. Afternoon courses are followed by a fireside chat by a guest, usually a member of a corporate, public or political organization; participants can enter into dialog with the guest and discuss the issue in question.  In some cases, course participants may also be invited to visit the business or public institution that the guest represents.

The fireside chats add a very personal touch to the professional elements of our leadership and management training programs and give participants the unique opportunity of coming face-to-face with a variety of leading management personalities and learning about their individual styles during these fireside meetings. The concept provides an important basis for self-reflection on personal leadership style and provides inspiration. In addition, the promotion of inter-year interaction between students at these events serves to create and nurture a network of mutually beneficial relationships.
