Conference Ticket

Mainz University is a campus university and as such it is integrated into the extensive Mainz/Wiesbaden public transport network. This is by far the best way to get from A to B (and back). There are various bus stops on/near campus. “Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg” and “Universität” are the most convenient for participants. Bus lines 6, 6A, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 64, 65, 68, 69, 90, and 91 connect the campus with the central train station/city centre (see the map below).

During registration, participants should buy a conference ticket (7 Euros, cash only) that gives them free access to all public transport (except long-distance trains) in the Mainz/Wiesbaden area for the duration of the conference from Monday to Saturday.

"Universität" is a large interchange, and various lines stop in different corners, but finding your way to the university is easy - just look for the main gate.
