All Good Things Must Come to an End …
Information Desk on Saturday
Some of you are already leaving, but the information desk will be open for business from 8.30 tomorrow, should you need assistance. To those who are staying for tomorrow's final session: Enjoy your last day (and night!) in Mainz.
Botanical Garden in the Snow
Now that the sun is back, why not come to the Botanical Garden during lunch break? If it's still too cold for your taste, there are always the greenhouses.

Update: Excursions
The weather forecast for tomorrow afternoon doesn't look too bad. If your are interested in the Synagogue Tour, you can still email Jasmin Fitzpatrick (fitzpatrick-at-politik.uni-mainz.de). If you would like to do the guided city walk and haven't booked yet, just go to meeting point in front of the Gutenberg-Museum and book on the spot.
Coffee Van
We had a chat with the good folks running the Coffee Van, who opened a little late this morning due to the weather. Hopefully, they should be open in time for your pre-workshop coffee tomorrow.
Please Register Now
Our funding from Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft is based on the number of registered participants. If your signature on the registration sheet is missing, this will cost us dearly. So please, if you haven't registered yet, go to registration NOW. And if you see someone without a name tag, drag them along.
Weather Update & Rokkan Lecture/Welcome Reception
After today's blizzard, the forecast for tomorrow and Thursday looks slightly more optimistic. Workshops end at 4.30 tomorrow to give you enough time to get to City Hall. Although buses should be back to normal tomorrow, please head straight for City Hall from your workshop. The lecture/ceremony starts on time. More information here.
Weather
With a cold front pushing south, spring is taking a break, so better pack some warm clothing. Go here for the ten day forecast.
