The majority of employees supporting teaching and research are female. This brochure presents portraits of women as representatives for work which is often not in the center of attention.
These areas of occupation are often not only very complex, but the employees are also well-versed in soft skills such as communicative talent, the ability to work in a team, independent work, flexibility, multi-tasking… Often these women complete their work in part-time, in different areas, and with multiple chefs.
The interviews show that nearly all of the women portrayed would choose the same occupation again and highly value their work at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
