The Gutenberg Academy sponsors various types of events throughout the year.
During the semester, a monthly Round Table is held, which is jointly organized and structured by both junior and senior members. Once a semester, a joint Round Table is held alternately with the Gutenberg Research College (GRC) and the Gutenberg Teaching Council (GTC).
Once a year, a welcome ceremony is held, where the president of the University welcomes new junior members. The same event also serves as the farewell ceremony for junior and senior members leaving the Academy.
The annual ”Networking Weekend" provides a framework for junior and senior members to get to know each other better, promotes interdisciplinary exchange among the Academy's members and encourages the exchange of ideas and suggestions between different subject areas.
The same is true for the annual study trip for junior members that is dedicated to scientific exchange and further internal networking.
