Gutenberg Academy

The Gutenberg Academy is the central institution of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) for the promotion and support of researchers in early career phases.

It offers career orientation and financial support, courses for interdisciplinary qualification and deepening of key competencies as well as networking opportunities and individual consulting services. The range of services is supplemented by subject-related offerings from partner institutions such as the Gutenberg Graduate School of the Humanities and Social Sciences (GSHS) or the Max Planck Graduate Center with Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

In addition, the Gutenberg Academy advises and supports existing graduate structures in order to offer a coordinated and varied program.

Gutenberg Academy Honors Program

Selected outstanding talents in science and art are supported on their career path by the Gutenberg Academy Honors Program: They benefit from networking opportunities, financial support and a special mentoring program.
